Motorola Droid Ultra Full Phone Specifications
Motorola owned bt Google Inc. The minuite I saw that news, i felt a new android series was on the pipeline. Here my predictions come true. Motorola launched 3 phones under the same name recently, Droid ultra,Droid maxx, Droid mini .Droid was chosen as a symbolic name to android. The three phones fell under different category. Hence they needed to be explained separately. The motorola was people's trusted brand of the year 2008. It suddenly fell from top level to bottom with introduction of android phones by samsung and LG. Motorola is now in a reniassance phase now. We earlier saw the moto x and found how motorola launched it well appealing to the customers.
This device was announced recently in july, and expected to hit markets early august 2013.
Let us now find out what all are the features incorporated into so called Droid Ultra
NETWORK
The device supports all networks, namely 2G,3G and 4G. It also supports CDMA EX*1 EVDO in 3G network. In 2G mode, it supports CDMA 800,900 bands and GSM 850,900,1800,1900 bands. The 4G network supports LTE 700,1700,2100 respectively. The SIM supported is nano SIM. One must apply for a nano SIM to use this device in a network.
BODY
The device is 5.41*2.80*0.28 (inches) in dimensions, and it weighs 137grams. It is also splash resistant body provided by motorola.
DISPLAY
The device incorporates a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen supporting 16 million colours. The display resolution is 720*1280 with a viewing area of 5 inches. The screen also provides 294 ppi pixel density.It supports multitouch and protected by corning gorilla glass from scratches.
SOUND
With the prebuilt WAV ringtones, one can use his/her customized mp3 also.The device has a loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack to listen audio through headphones or external speakers.
MEMMORY
The device doesnt have a card slot and has an internal memmory of 16GB (12.5GB usable). It also encorporates 2GB ram for lag-free perfromance.

It supports GPRS,EDGE,EVDO,HSDPA and HSUPA modes in data transfer. It supports upto 3.1 Mbps in EVDO mode and 42.2Mbps in HSDPA mode and 5.76Mbps in HSUPA mode. It also supports Wi-Fi dual band with tethering support and DLNA. It has latest version of bluetooth namely v4.0. It has NFC support and also a micro USB v2.0 support to copy files from pc easily.
CAMERA
The primary camera is of 10MP with autofocus and LED flash and other features are touch-focus, geo-tagging and face detection. The secondary camera is of 2MP and supports video recording at 30fps @ 1080p. This ensures excellent video calling ability.

The device has currently v4.2.2 android and one should expect 4.3 soon on this device. The dual core krait has a clock speed of 1.7GHZ and the chipset used is qualcomm snapdragon s4 pro. The GPU used is adreno 320. It also has sensors incorporated, namely accelerometer,gyro,proximity,compass and barometer.The browser is HTML5 capable. The device doesnt have an inbuilt radio. The device has GPS with GLONASS and it also has a java MIDP emulator.
