Google LG Nexus 4 Full Phone Specifications
The Google Nexus 4, also known as LG Mako is the premium smartphone which broke all shackles off the Galaxy s4. This smartphone,subsidised by Google Inc was launched at a mouth watering pricetag of just 24,999 INR. All the smartphones in same category, even LG Optimus G, note 2, samsung s4. are placed at a pricetag of 34,000-38,000 . The main attraction is that, it being the nexus segment, all updates, major or minor is available to Google devices first. This device was announced on october 2012 and was available to indian markets recent june only. The device is excellent in build and protected from scratches from both end with gorilla glasses on both sides.
The specifications are similar to LG optimus G and the device is available at 9000INR less than LG optimus G. The price drop is explained as subsidy given to google by the buyers of NEXUS. NETWORK
The device supports all network modes except LG LTE. It supports GSM 850,900,1800,1900 in 2G network, HSDPA 850,900,1700,1900,2100 in 3G network. The SIM architecture is micro-SIM. One needs to have a SIM cutter to shorten/scale his existing mini-SIM to micro-SIM size. Almost all networks are auto selected except Reliance and tata docomo- (manual select required).

With default WAV ringtones, Nexus 4 has a MP3 vibration alerts. The loudspeaker is a decent one with nice audio output. The device also has a 3.5mm jack to use audio in external speakers or in headphones.
MEMMORY
The device has an internal storage of 16GB and it does not support external memmory card as slot is not available here. The device also has an enormous 2GB ram for lag-free operation.

The device supports, GPRS,EDGE and HSDPA, where class 12 speed is claimed in GPRS and EDGE and 42.2Mbps speed is claimed with DC-HSDPA ,21Mbps with HSDPA and 5.76Mbps in HSUPA. The device has a Wi-Fi dual band support and it also supports tethering. The latest version of bluetooth is incorporated (v4.0) and it supports NFC and micro-USB v2.0 slim port for data transfer.
CAMERA
The primary camera is 8MP with 3246*2448 pixels and it also supports autofocus and LED flash. The other features are Geo-tagging,touch focus,face detection and photo sphere. The secondary camera is of 1.3MP and supports 1080pm at 30FPS.

The device has a pre-installed v4.2.2 android jellybean and it is updatable to v4.3. The qualcomm APQ8064 snapdragon chipset is used together with a Quad core 1.5GHZ krait processor. The graphics is rendered by adreno 320 GPU. The other sensors in this device are accelerometer,gyro,proximity,compass,barometer. HTML5 is also supported. The device has a GPS with GLONASS support.
BATTERY
The non removable type 2100mah battery is used. This can provide around a back up time of 15 hours in 3G mode.
